Educational use
The site provides general educational information and simplified calculations. It does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, legal advice or evidence of fitness to drive. You are responsible for checking whether information is suitable for your circumstances and obtaining qualified advice where needed.
Do not use a result to decide whether to drive, operate machinery, pass an alcohol test or consume a target dose. Read the disclaimer and calculation methodology before interpreting an estimate.
Accuracy and availability
We aim to provide useful explanations, but errors and outdated information are possible. Calculations depend on user inputs and simplifying assumptions. Access may be interrupted, and features may change. No guarantee of completeness, continuous availability or suitability for a particular purpose is made.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law. This text does not choose an invented business jurisdiction or override mandatory consumer protections.
Responsible use
Do not disrupt the website, attempt unauthorized access or use it to distribute unlawful material. You may link to public pages and use the calculator for personal educational purposes. Do not represent this site as an official authority, testing service or professional endorsement.
Sources and updates
External references are provided for context. Their operators control their content and terms. Laws and health guidance may change, so consult the current official source. These terms describe the edition dated 9 October 2026 and may be revised as the service changes.
Questions about these terms can be sent to info@bac-calculator-us.com. See the privacy policy for information handling.
Specific terms for the calculators
The blood alcohol estimator and the alcohol-volume tool are provided as educational demonstrations of a published formula. They run entirely in your browser. You are responsible for the values you enter and for recognizing that the output is a modeled estimate, not a measurement. We describe the assumptions on each page — body-water factor, elimination rate, total-absorption simplification — and using the tool means accepting those published limitations rather than an implied warranty of accuracy.
Two uses are expressly outside the site's purpose and are your responsibility alone: deciding whether to drive, and planning consumption around a target or a test. The site provides no clearance time, no green light and no evasion guidance. If you use a result for any consequential decision despite this, the decision and its consequences are yours.
Liability, stated plainly
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the site and its operator are not liable for decisions made in reliance on an estimate, for outcomes of driving after drinking, for legal consequences of an arrest or test, or for health outcomes following alcohol consumption. This limitation exists because an educational model cannot control or foresee how its output is used, and pretending otherwise would mislead readers about what a calculator is.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded in your jurisdiction. These terms do not constitute legal advice about their own enforceability, and mandatory consumer-protection rights in your jurisdiction override any conflicting clause here.
Revisions to these terms
As the site evolves — for example if advertising, accounts, additional calculators or localized editions are introduced — these terms will be revised and the edition date updated. Continued use of the site after a revised edition is published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes affecting data collection will additionally be reflected in the privacy policy before the underlying feature goes live, as described there.
These terms do not create an agency, partnership or employment relationship between you and the site. If any clause is held unenforceable, the remainder stays in force. Disputes should first be raised by email so they can be addressed directly; applicable law and venue for any unresolved dispute depend on the operator's actual establishment and your consumer-protection rights, which we deliberately do not override with a chosen forum.
